1. UTME  Admission

Candidates seeking admission into 100 level of the programme must go through the UTME of the Joint Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB) and must obtain an acceptable pass in the examination to be eligible for admission.  Such candidates must  have credit  passes in five subjects at not more than 2 sittings, which must  include  English  language,  Mathematics, Economics,  and any two of   Agriculture or Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Government  at  the  West African Senior Secondary  Certificate  Examination (WASSCE)  or  the  General  Certificate  of  Education (GCE O/L),  or  the  West  African  School Certificate  Examination (WASCE)  or  The  National  Examination  Council  (NECO) or equivalent.  

UTME Subjects:-  English  Language,  Mathematics,  Economics, and  one  of   Agriculture/ Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Physics and Government.

  1. Direct  Entry

Applicants   seeking admission into 200 level of the programme should possess in addition to the subject requirements specified in (a) above:

(i)                  National  Diploma  or  equivalent  in a  relevant  area  of   Engineering,  Agriculture,  Sciences, Social    and  Management  Sciences  with  a  minimum  of  upper  credit  from  a  recognized  institution  or 

(ii)                GCE  (Advanced  Level) or equivalent in  at  least two  subjects  from  the  following:  Mathematics,  Economics ,  Agriculture/ Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Physics and Government.
