  • Candidates seeking admission into 100 level of the programme must go through the UTME of the Joint Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB) and must obtain an acceptable pass. Such candidates must have credit passes in five subjects at not more than 2 sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Agricultural Science/Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Financial Accounting and Government at the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or the General Certificate of Education (GCE O/L), or the National Examination Council (NECO) or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).

    UTME Subjects:- English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any one of Agricultural Science/Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Financial Accounting and Government.

  • Candidates seeking admission into 200 level of the programme must possess in addition to the subject requirements specified in (a) above:

  • National Diploma in a relevant area of Agricultural Sciences, Social and Management Sciences with a minimum of upper credit from a recognised polytechnic or;
  • GCE (Advanced Level) or equivalent in at least two subjects from the following: Mathematics, Economics, Agricultural Sciences or Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Financial Accounting and Government.
